How SI photo editor pricing is worked out
Each edit on SiPhotoEditor returns exactly one picture, so its price is the price of one image from the model you chose. The photo editor runs every model at one fixed quality, and the cost sits next to the model name in the menu and again on the Apply edit button, so you see it before anything is charged. File size and resolution make no difference: a small phone snapshot and a large portrait cost the same.
Credits are set aside when an edit starts and kept only when the edited photo comes back. If the model reports an error, a safety filter stops the job, or it runs far too long, the whole amount goes back into your balance without a support ticket. Uploading, comparing, downloading and reopening past edits are free; only Apply edit spends credits.

Credits per photo edit on each model
The editor offers eight models that can change a photo you upload, and this table is the core of SI photo editor pricing: the cost of one edit on each, the fixed output setting the editor uses, and how many edits a Starter or Studio pack would cover if you used that model alone.
| Model | Maker | Setting | Credits | Starter | Studio |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nano Banana 2 | 1K | 48 | 22 | 216 | |
| Seedream 5 Flash | ByteDance | 2K | 17 | 64 | 611 |
| Qwen Image 3 | Alibaba | 1K | 24 | 45 | 433 |
| Nano Banana Pro | 1K | 90 | 12 | 115 | |
| Seedream 5 Pro | ByteDance | 1.5K | 41 | 26 | 253 |
| GPT Image 2.5 | OpenAI | Medium | 54 | 20 | 192 |
| Flux 3 | Black Forest Labs | 1K | 29 | 37 | 358 |
| Grok Imagine Image 2 | xAI | Medium | 36 | 30 | 288 |
Rates track what each provider bills us for one edited image, which is why Nano Banana Pro costs 90 credits while Seedream 5 Flash costs 17. When a provider runs a temporary launch discount, our rate stays where it is, so a price you saw last week has not quietly moved.
What a pack covers in real photos
Credit totals are easier to judge as finished pictures. Using the rates above:
- Starter (1,100 credits): restore about 22 faded family photos with Nano Banana 2, or test 64 rough ideas on Seedream 5 Flash.
- Creator (3,600 credits): move 60 product shots onto a white background with Nano Banana 2 (2,880 credits) and keep 42 Seedream 5 Flash edits for lifestyle scenes.
- Studio (10,400 credits): restyle 200 room photos for a listing on Seedream 5 Pro (8,200 credits), then spend the other 2,200 on about 45 portrait backgrounds with Nano Banana 2.
Which photo editor pack should you pick?
Starter suits a first project: a few portraits, an old album, or a side-by-side test of every model. Creator comes with 20% extra credits for sellers, creators and anyone editing pictures weekly. Studio, with 30% extra, is meant for shops, agencies and real estate work involving hundreds of photos. SI photo editor pricing is the same per edit in every pack; bigger packs only carry more bonus credits, and all of them feed the same balance.
SI photo editor pricing vs monthly photo apps
Most online photo editors sell a membership with a fixed number of edits that disappears at the end of each month. That model suits people who edit the same amount every week. Photo work rarely looks like that: a product launch, a wedding album or a house listing arrives in bursts, then nothing happens for weeks. With credit packs, a quiet month costs nothing and unused credits wait for the next project. There is no renewal date to remember and no cancellation flow, because nothing renews. That is the whole point of SI photo editor pricing: you pay for the edits you actually make.
How to spend fewer credits per photo
- Try a new idea on Seedream 5 Flash for 17 credits, then repeat only the version you like on Nano Banana 2 or Nano Banana Pro.
- Say what must stay the same, such as “keep the face, pose and clothes exactly the same”; clear limits mean fewer retries.
- Make one change at a time and use “Keep editing this result” to stack them, instead of one long instruction that changes everything at once.
- Start from the eight quick edits, such as “Restore old photo”, “Pro headshot” and “Make it winter”; their instructions are already written and tested.
- Open the gift center each day and collect the check-in credits.
Free credits before you pay
Sign up through Google and 80 credits are yours to spend, so you can judge the SI photo editor on your own pictures before paying anything. On top of that, the gift center hands out small rewards for checking in each day (with a bonus for streaks), for your first creation and for friends you invite. These gifts cannot be cashed out, yet each one buys edits just like a paid credit.
SI photo editor pricing questions
Do I need a monthly plan to edit photos?
No. SiPhotoEditor only sells one-time credit packs. You pay once, the credits sit in your balance, and you are not charged again until you decide to buy another pack.
How long do credits last?
They have no end date. Credits bought today work next month or next year, on any of the editing models.
What if an edit fails or gets blocked?
You get the credits back automatically. If the model returns an error, its safety filter stops the photo or the result, or the edit never finishes, the edit is recorded as failed and every credit it reserved is put back.
Does anything besides an edit cost credits?
No. Uploading a photo, dragging the before/after slider, downloading the result, going back to the original and reopening recent edits are all free. Only the Apply edit button spends credits.
Is “Keep editing this result” charged twice?
Turning a result into your new starting photo is free. The next change you apply to it is charged once, at the normal rate of the model you pick.
Which payment methods work?
Stripe runs the checkout. It takes the major credit and debit cards and, in many regions, wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay or a local option. We never see or store your card number.
Can I get my money back?
Credit packs are final once the credits arrive, but every failed edit is refunded in credits, and billing mistakes such as a duplicate charge are refunded to your card. The refund policy explains each case.
Still unsure? Email support@siphotoeditor.com, read the refund policy and the terms of service, or browse real before and after results on the SI photo editor home page. The cost of each model is also shown inside the photo editor workspace, and the privacy policy explains what happens to your uploads.
